'Oktoberfest' for the arts
Celebrate Oktoberfest with the Haywood County Arts Council from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Classic Wineseller. The public is invited to attend the German celebration, at 20 Church St., in Waynesville.
The evening includes a traditional Bavarian meal of bratwurst, potato salad, sauerkraut and tea or soda. Oktoberfest beers, a wide variety of craft beers, and a large selection of wine is available for purchase. Proceeds from food and drink sales are to benefit the Haywood County Arts Council.
