BURKEVILLE, VIRGINIA — Oliver Wendell Arrington “Red,” 85, of Burkeville, passed away, Saturday, Feb, 23, 2013, at his home. Mr. Arrington was retired from the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his children, Tommy Arrington and Marcia Arrington, both of Norfolk, Virginia, Joanie Pond, and husband, Russ, of Ashland, Virginia, and Patty Rhodes, of Manteo. Six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home, Crewe, Virginia.
