Apr 08, 2013

Join friends of Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation at a Benefit One Mile Fun Run & Dog Walk at Lake Junaluska Saturday April 13. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk/run starts at 10 a.m.

All proceeds benefit Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation. Stroll with family and friends or compete for first place. First place takes home a Sarge's T-shirt. Bring a friendly, furry baby on a leash to enjoy the event. Festivities include a bake sale and photo booth.
Registration is $5 and 100 percent goes to the foundation. The event will start at the Bethea Welcome Center parking area at Lake Junaluska. Participants can register online in advance at  http://thefundraiser.wufoo.com/forms/z7x3p3/. Day of event registration is also welcome.
Participants may pay the registration fee to walk/run or seek additional donations and/or sponsors to raise even more for Sarge’s.  To fundraise online, a CrowdRise fundraiser has been created at /www.crowdrise.com/sargesonemilefunrundogwalk.  The event is on Facebook where those interested may RSVP and share with friends — http://on.fb.me/14vPNuB.  For more information, call 734-1307 or 508-2997.
