ETOWAH, TENNESSEE  — Osteen Roberts Cosgrove, 88, a former resident of Lake Junaluska, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in a local health care facility.

She was born June 27, 1924, daughter of the late Rev. Ivon L. Roberts and Lillian S. Roberts.  She was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Robert Cosgrove, and one brother, Elwood Roberts.

She is survived by daughters; Sherrill Martin, of Riceville, and Kathy and Tony Robinson, of Etowah; two sisters, Wilma Cato and Norma and David Wright, of Lake Junaluska; four grandchildren, Renee’ Williams, of Riceville, Mark McCracken, of Waynesville, Katelyn Robinson ,of Knoxville, and Krista Robinson, of Chattanooga; three great children, Ryan McCracken, Houston McCracken and Nolan Robinson Reed; several nieces and nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held for Ms. Cosgrove in the memorial chapel of Lake Junaluska.

Ralph Buckner Funeral Home of Etowah will be in charge of arrangements.
