Christmas Day will be here tomorrow and we wanted to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the blessing we have been given to serve as your hometown newspaper this year. For all of us here at The Mountaineer, Christmas is a great time to celebrate God’s blessings to us and they include you our readers, advertisers and supporters.
Your expectations from us are high, and we have tried not to disappoint. There have been times where we know we have let you down, but we’ve always learned from our mistakes and tried to become better because of them. We understand it is impossible to please everyone all of the time but we do the best we can. If we can inform, educate and sometimes entertain you three days per week, then we feel like we have done our job fairly well.
