Dutch oven cooking is an art and alternate means of preparing meals when in a wilderness, camping or trail environment. We are delighted to have Carolyn Counts come teach this class and share what she learned while on a Ranch in Montana!
- Using coals vs. open flame cooking.
- How many coals per top and/or bottom for what items.
- Preparing the recipes and timing.
- More!
In this class you see the step-by-step demonstration and shown how to use cast iron dutch ovens like they've used them on the pioneer trails for years - with coals rather than open flame. We'll also get to taste the delightful foods that have been prepared during our instructional time!
Space is limited and this has been a much requested class!
