Owens earns N.C. county clerk designation
Amanda Owens, Haywood County executive assistant/deputy clerk, received the North Carolina Certified County Clerk (NCCCC) designation from the School of Government at the University of Chapel Hill. She received the designation at the annual conference of the N.C. Association of County Clerks held in New Brunswick County.
"This achievement is a reflection of Amanda's commitment to her career, local and regional government and the community she serves," said Carolyn Barger, president of the N.C. Association of County Clerks. "This exemplifies her dedication and desire for personal growth and enrichment of her knowledge and skills."
