DURHAM — The North Carolina State men’s golf team finished 11th at the Rod Myers Invitational at Duke Golf Club on Sunday, Oct. 14.
Junior Albin Choi tied for 20th to lead North Carolina State at 3-over 219. The Wolfpack finished with a team score of 41-over 905 (305-300-300).
Freshman Carter Page, a former Tuscola standout, shot a final round 2-over 74 on Sunday to finish tied for 33rd at 6-over 222. In the first round. After the first two rounds, he was tied for 30th with a 4-over 148.
Duke won its own event at 12-under 852, followed by North Carolina at even-par and Charlotte at +3.
Julian Suri (Duke) and Clark Palmer (North Carolina) tied for the individual lead at 7-under 209.
This pasr weekend at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate at Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Page finished tied for 29th with a three-round 222. N.C. State finished third.
The pack gets back in action this weekend at the Bridgestone Intercollegiate hosted by UNCG at the Grandover Resort’s East Course in Greensboro.
