Parton breaks leg in collision at Vols’ game

KNOXVILLE — This is the last shot from Partick Parton’s camera at the Florida-Tennessee college football game Saturday night in Neyland Stadium. Just a second after the shot, the players collided into Parton, who was shooting for The Mountaineer newspaper, and broke the Waynesville resident’s right leg below the knee. He was immediately taken from the field and had surgery a few hours later at the UT Medicial Center, which Parton is expected to remain until later this week.
