Patron Reviews: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Harper Lee may have only written one book, but what a book! Truly a classic. Atticus Finch is the perfect hero: good father, a man of honor, morals and integrity. Involved in a case he knows he can't win, but believing in justice for everyone regardless of race or background. It definitely was an influence on civil rights.

Loved this book as much today as I did almost 20 years ago. Very well written and offers a perspective on racial injustices, that as a young teen, I hadn't learned very much about.
