Pisgah High School’s NJROTC has recently been awarded the coveted Distinguished Unit for the 20th consecutive year.

The Distinguished Unit Award (DUA) is an award given to a Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps unit from their respective  headquarters. A representative will review the unit every year, and the unit is then given the opportunity to improve on the ratings given by the representative.

To be a Distinguished Unit, cadets must also compete at all levels of competition, participate in the Area 6 Championship and attain overall outstanding scores in all facets of the program.

The award consists of a ribbon that may be worn on the standard uniform by the cadets that attained it.

The staff for Pisgah NJROTC for the 2014-15 school year have recently been announced.
