The Pisgah Navy JROTC Drill and Ceremony team traveled to Erwin High School Saturday, March 15, to compete in the Mitch Carver Memorial Drill Meet.
Nine other schools from around Western North Carolina, representing the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine units, participated.

Pisgah’s team brought home a second-place trophy and three first-place trophies, culminating in Pisgah winning the Overall Champion Trophy of the meet.

“The team really came together and performed like champions,” said Chief Tom Long, the team’s coach. “I am proud of the team.”
