PlottFest, a fundraising event to benefit Head Start of Haywood and Jackson counties, is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2014 and Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds.

Organizers are accepting applications for artists, crafts people, and local producers of farm products and flowers. Desire handcrafted artistry and quality, original and authentic products (food spaces are full).

In its third year, this well-attended event features widely popular, local bands such as Balsam Range, Eddie Rose and Highway 40, and others; children’s activities; and features the North Carolina State dog, the Plott hound, in sanctioned bench shows and various dog contests.

A 10’x10’ outdoor booth space for both days is $45 plus $10 for electricity, if needed. See www.plottfest.org for more information and click on “Craft Vendors” for rules and application forms.
