No matter what one’s particular political ideals may be, all Americans are facing an extremely important election this fall. The Senior Advocacy Council of Haywood County, in collaboration with The Junaluskans, will host a political forum to be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Senior Resource Center of Haywood County, 81 Elmwood Way, in Waynesville.  Attendees will hear from local and state candidates regarding their positions and thoughts on issues of interest to seniors.  Following a previous forum, an attendee was overheard to remark, “I’m changing my vote as a result of today’s forum.”  That is a powerful statement.  Be an informed voter.  Make plans now to attend the forum.
