The N.C. Pre-K classroom at St. John’s Early Education and Preschool delivered toiletry bags to the clients of the homeless shelter through the Open Door, in Waynesville. This was a January project for the young students to give back to the community.

The children and their families, as well as the staff in the classroom, collected Kleenex, toothpaste and brushes, small bottles of soap and shampoo and other personal hygiene items.

The children have been learning about good hygiene in their curriculum from the Creative Curriculum they use daily.
