Loving Father

CLYDE — Collier Randall “Randy” Hoglen, 56, of Clyde, passed away Feb. 17, 2013, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved. Randy was born in Haywood County to Collier “Dick” and Betty Mehaffey Hoglen. He graduated from Tuscola High School and worked at Dayco and Conmet, until he was forced to give up work due to his illness. Randy loved working in his yard, going to the beach, sports, and spending time with his family. He attended Long’s Chapel UMC and loved to read his bible in his quiet time.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathy Hoglen; son, Dustin Hoglen; daughters, Crystal Pace, and  Cameran Hoglen; and many other family members and friends.
