Concerned about prescription drugs
To the editor:
I am writing you today, because I am concerned about the issue of prescription drugs in our county. The problem with prescription drugs has risen tremendously over the past couple of years, and it is only going to become worse. I feel as if this problem is being ignored and I would like the community to become more aware of the issue we have.
Recently, I have become aware of this issue due to the recent deaths of a few people I went to high school with, or have seen friends on Facebook post about loved ones being lost due to prescription pills. I graduated from high school recently and I knew kids were doing it for fun, but I don’t think they or I fully understood the dangers of this activity.
