Registration now open for Ski Lake Junaluska

Event offers music, speakers and more for youth groups
Sep 18, 2013

Lake Junaluska Youth Events is proud to present Ski Lake Junaluska, with a line up of dynamic speakers, live bands and snowboarding or skiing for youth groups. Packages provide youth with a weekend full of worship, skiing or snowboarding and fellowship in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Registration is now open, with Ski Lake Junaluska beginning Monday, Dec. 30 and ending Sunday, Feb. 23, 2013.

Speakers this season include Duffy Robbins, Rachel Held Evans, Andy Lambert, Sarah Arthur and Stephanie Hand. Worship bands include TransMission, Second Hand City, Bestowed and The Wayne Kerr Band. Ski Lake Junaluska will offer youth groups a renewal of soul, mind and body.

This year’s theme is “Do Not Worry.” Youth will focus on the inspiring verse from Matthew 6:34 (The Message): “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.”

“Ski Lake Junaluska events make planning a retreat easy," said Jennifer Martin, director of program ministries. "All you have to do is bring your group and the rest is taken care of.”

Groups registered by Tuesday, Oct. 15 will receive free T-shirts. Visit www.lakejunaluska.com/ski or call 800.222.4930 for more information.

Non-program ski packages, including early, midweek and late ski are also available throughout the entire winter season.
