WAYNESVILLE — The Rev. Floyd Carson Frisbee, 83, of Waynesville, went home to be with his Lord July 20, 2014. He was born in Madison County to the late Tommy and Maggie Justice Frisbee, and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cherẽ Frisbee; brothers, Doyle, Jesse, Henry, Thomas, Emmett and Clearman Frisbee; and sisters, Dorothy Frisbee and Lois Holland.
Floyd served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and worked at Dayco as a mold operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, beekeeping and woodworking, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Esther Lee Frisbee, of Waynesville; sisters, Cecile Farmer and her husband, Ray, of Gastonia, Trula Mae Long and her husband, Rudy, of Old Fort; and numerous nephews, nieces and close family friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery and the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
