Revels appointed to assistant district attorney slot
Ann Ansley Revels has been appointed to serve as an assistant district attorney in the 30th Prosecutorial District.
Revels took her oath of office Monday at the Haywood County Courthouse. Chief District Court Judge Richlyn Holt administered the oath of office.
“I am very pleased to appoint Ann Revels to this position," District Attorney Mike Bonfoey said. "It is great to find a young person for this position with outstanding academic credentials and a strong interest in prosecution.”
She is filling the vacant position left by Justin Eason in July, who is now working as a prosecutor in Cherokee.
