‘Ride for Pink’ is Oct. 6
The second annual “Ride for Pink! Supporting the Cure” organized ride and concert to benefit the Haywood Regional Medical Center Foundation and the Power of Pink is being held Saturday, Oct. 6, at Smoky Mountain Steel Horses, in Waynesville.
The ride will depart at noon from Smoky Mountain Steel Horses. Money raised will be used to provide free mammograms and screening to qualifying underserved women in Haywood County. Early registration for the organized ride is available by downloading the registration form from the website.
The cost for riders is $25 per bike and $10 per passenger. There will be live music by Unit 50 band, food and beverages available, drawings, prizes and more. The music be from 2 to 5 p.m.
