WAYNESVILLE — Mr. Robert D. “Bob” McCall, 84, of Waynesville, passed away  Feb. 25, 2013. Mr. McCall was born in Jackson County to the late George and Ellen Arrowood McCall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Donnie McCall; brothers Lewis, John, Jess, Lawrence, Charlie, and Ted; and sisters Allie Bryson, Lettie Mae Jones. Bob was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and a gifted mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. McCall, of the home; son, Jerry, and his wife, Jean Ann McCall, of Waynesville; daughter, Shirley Ferguson, and her husband, Samuel, of Maggie Valley; daughter-in-law, Susan McCall, of Waynesville; brother, Eugene “June Bug,” and his wife, Edith McCall, of Waynesville; grandsons, Jason and Jeremy ...
