Robert 'Nip' Kniprath

WAYNESVILLE — Robert Jon “Nip” Kniprath, 69, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017.
Mr. Kniprath was a native of Beloit, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Robert L. Kniprath and Mary Ellen Kidd Kniprath. Robert retired from Florida Power and Light with 42 years of dedicated service. After retiring, he and his wife, Susan, moved to Haywood County to be closer to their daughter and family.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years, Susan Marquis Kniprath; daughter, Shelly Kniprath Stacey and husband, Jeremy, of Canton; grandson, Ian Robert Bell; sister, Janeen Smith Fredrick, of Maryland; aunt, Shirley Roberts of Titusville, Florida; and many loving nieces and nephews.
At Robert’s request, no formal services will be held.
