Loved his Family
WAYNESVILLE — Robert McDonald Parris, 74, of Waynesville, left his earthly life Friday, May 3, 2013 .
He was the son of the late Hoke Parris and the late Maude Freeman Parris.
Robert loved being outdoors, going on picnics and fishing. His family was the love of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Wade and Cleophus Parris; a sister, Pansy Price; and a nephew, Shane Parris.
Surviving are his daughter, Lori Parris, of Waynesville; a son, William Parris (Jodi), of Clyde; three granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Caldwell (Earnest), of Waynesville; brothers, Sherman Parris (Cathy), of Franklin, Troy Parris (Gail), Tommy Parris (Jackie), of Waynesville, Mack Parris, of Waynesville and Charlie Parris (Joretta), of Crabtree; his friend and former wife, Geri Shuler; and several wonderful nieces and nephews
Private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the Parris family request that donations be made to Crawford/ Ray Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
