She fought a good fight, she finished her race, she kept her faith.

WAYNESVILLE  — Robin Reeves Riddle, 44, of Waynesville, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital with her family by her side.  She was born in Haywood County Sept. 15, 1967.  She was a graduate of Tuscola High School.  Throughout her life she worked at several group homes for adults with special needs and worked at HVO, until her recent illness.

She is preceded in death by, paternal grandparents, Paul and Ester Reeves; maternal grandfather, David Roy Rich; and one nephew, Robert Dean Reeves.

Survivors include her husband, Marty Riddle; one daughter, Nikki Teague; parents, Robert and Georgia Reeves; maternal grandmother, Julia Rich; one brother, Bobby Reeves, and his wife, Heather; two nieces, Hannah and Rachel Reeves; and one special friend, Lisa Best.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the Maggie Valley Baptist Church with speakers the Rev. Ricky Mason, Rev. Bobby Downs, Rev. Edgil Burke, Rev.Donna Hall and Kelli McCoy. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the church.  Special music will be provided by the Rev. Ricky Mason.

Inurnment will be held following services at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Ted Reeves officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dallas Rich, Darren Rich, Scott Smith, Chad Smith and Jamie Rich.
