Waynesville, NC - Celtic rock sensation, Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans will perform LIVE at the Classic Wineseller, 20 Church Street, on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 7-10pm. The performance will take place outdoors on the bandstand, weather permitting. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. There is a $10 per person minimum including food, drink or retail purchases. Kilt-wearing is strongly encouraged to honor Folkmoot USA's 30th anniversary.

Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans (UHTH) is a five-member Celtic rock band from western North Carolina. Members include; Shawn Dunham, bass, guitar, mandolin and vocals; Connell Sanderson, bagpipe, flute, whistle and bass; John Barden, guitar and vocals; Erik Roth, keyboards and vocals; and, Jim "JB" Black; drums and vocals.

Influenced by such ground-breaking bands as Seven Nations and Enter the Haggis, band members set out to play Celtic music that also included their personal tastes. In their music, you are likely hear influences that range from Toto to Genesis, and all points in between. Mix in the haunting sounds of traditional Celtic instruments such as the Highland bagpipes, whistles, flute, and mandolin, and you get the unique sound that defines Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans.

The Classic Wineseller is Waynesville’s premiere retail wine and craft beer shop, small plate restaurant, and live music venue presenting local, regional, or national talent each Friday and Saturday night at 7pm. The Wineseller kitchen opens at 5:30pm on weekend evenings serving freshly prepared small plate fare. For more information visit www.classicwineseller.com or call 828-452-6000.
