Rug hooking classes will officially begin from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5,  at the Senior Resource Center of Haywood County, 81 Elmwood Way, Waynesville.  The instructor will be Sue Ellen Fox, who owns and operates Rug Hooking at Fox Cottage.

Fox is an experienced craft person, who has designed many of her own projects as well as tools. There is no charge for the class and practice material is available at no charge.

To start an actual project, materials will need to be purchased. This class represents an opportunity to discover if rug hooking might be a good hobby, without investing lots of money.  To reserve a space in the class and for more information, contact Suzanne Hendrix at 452-2370, ext 2816.
