Canton, NC — “Beloved Wife, Mother”

CANTON — Sandra Doris Burnette Clontz, 64, of Canton, passed away, Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at MedWest-Haywood Hospital.  She was born in Haywood County on March 3, 1948 to the late Scott and Pauline Lanning Burnette.  She was a caregiver for many years for the elderly in Haywood County.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Scott Clontz,  and a grandson, Marty White Jr.

Survivors include, her husband, JC Clontz, three daughters, Tanya Scott and her husband Odel, Sharon Clontz Conard and her husband Howard, Candy Clontz- Rathbone and her husband Shannon, one sister, Glenda Burke and her husband Paul, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
