Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother

WAYNESVILLE — Sara Nelson, 75, of Waynesville, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Haywood County May 15, 1937. Sara was an avid gardener who enjoyed growing vegetables and canning and freezing them in the fall. She loved quilting, sewing, crafting, and crocheting.  She also loved decorating her home for all holidays, and watching her granddaughters playing ball.  She was a member of the Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Nola Conard; brothers, Hollis, Tommy, and James Robert Conard and Pless White; sister, Della; and six grandchildren.
