Pictured from left, are Sarge’s volunteer Sue Libera, Mast General Store Manager Melanee Lester, and Sarge’s volunteer Kim Thompson.

The holiday season is almost here and Sarge’s is asking for the community’s help. There are two fun ways to help — first, by having a gift wrapped from to Dec. 4 to 24 at Mast General Store in Waynesville, and second, by volunteering to help wrap gifts at Mast.

“Volunteers wrap gifts for donations and 100 percent of the proceeds go to Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation to help save innocent lives,” said Tish O’Connor, coordinator for the Sarge’s gift-wrapping project. “If you enjoy gift wrapping or know someone who does, we need volunteers to wrap gifts at Mast General Store.”
