Sarge's Finds Homes for 130 Dogs and Cats To Date in 2013

There are 42 cats and 88 dogs that were in danger of being euthanized since January 1st that are now safe and happy with loving families thanks to Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation.

There were 65 adoptions in February 2013 whch represented 16 cats and 49 dogs.  This compares to 41 total adoptions for February 2012 which was a record for the highest number  of adoptions for any February. The 49 dog adoptions was the best ever number for a single month in Sarge's history.  The previous record was 42 in August 2009.

Included in the February total is the 13 cats and 8 dogs that were adopted at our local Petsmart.

This is the second month in  a row with a record high for adoptions.  In January there were a total of 65 adoptions (26 cats, 39 dogs) compared to 37  (10 cats, 27 dogs) in January 2012 which was also a record high for adoptions in any previous January.
