Sarge's 'One Mile Fun Run, Dog Walk' is April 13

The community is invited to join friends of Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation at a benefit "One Mile Fun Run & Dog Walk" Saturday April 13, at Lake Junaluska. Registration is $5 and all proceeds directly benefit Sarge's Animal Rescue Foundation.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk/run starts at 10 a.m. The event will start at the Bethea Welcome Center parking area at 91 N. Lakeshore Dr., Lake Junaluska.  Register online in advance at Day of event registration is also welcome.

Stroll with family and friends or compete for first place. First place takes home a Sarge's T-shirt. Bring friendly, furry friends on a leash to enjoy the event. Festivities include a bake sale and photo booth.

Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation’s mission is to save animals from euthanasia in the Haywood County Animal Control facility (HCAC).
