Household aluminum cans could make a big difference for an area nonprofit that serves the poor of Haywood County.

The resource development team of Circles of Hope is asking the community to donate their aluminum cans to help this important work to serve the poor of our County. This effort is being called Cans of Hope.

“You can bet I’m going to be saving all our aluminum cans,” said Karen Wilson, a community volunteer. “This is such an easy way to help and serve.”

To donate, bag and deposit all empty aluminum beverage cans in the marked dumpster behind Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church at 175 Old Clyde Road. The funds raised from this project will be donated to Circles of Hope, a new nonprofit in Haywood County designed to help individuals and families move out of poverty, build self-esteem and improve life skills.
