Sawyer takes command of 300th Sustainment Brigade

Army Lt. Col. Clifton P. Sawyer has assumed command of the 300th Sustainment Brigade as the commander during a ceremony held Aug. 3, at Grand Prairie Armed Forces Complex, Texas.

Sawyer is the son of Clifton W. Sawyer, of Waynesville, brother of Erik J. Sawyer, of Overland Park, Kansas, husband of Renee T. Sawyer and son-in-law of Bernadette and Daniel J. Lincoln, of Slidell, Louisiana.

He is a 1982 graduate of Slidell High School, Slidell, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor's degree in 1990 from Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, Louisiana.
