So Dearly Loved

CANTON —  Shirley Dianne Johnson Phillips, 63, of Miller Street, passed away into the arms of the angels, Sunday, March 17, 2013.

Mrs. Phillips was born Sept. 5, 1949, in Haywood County. She resided in Canton most of her life and was a 1967 graduate of Pisgah High School. She was a devoted homemaker and loved her family deeply. Mrs. Phillips was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church in Candler, before moving her letter to High Street Baptist Church in Canton. Shirley was dedicated to her Lord and to her church. She was an active member of the WMU and also helped in organizing and the preparation of church meals for  families during their time of bereavement.
