Residents of Silver Bluff Village at Pigeon Valley Rest Home began working in a portable vegetable garden recently.

This new activity project helps residents who used to have gardens feel a little bit more at home. Because the gardens are portable, residents can stand up to work in them or sit down.

So far, residents have planted red and yellow tomatoes, red and green peppers, squash, onions and cucumbers.
