Tuscola Garden Club members plant decorative grasses on the slopes near the south entrance of Lake Junaluska.
Anna King of Mountain View Nursery will speak to members and guests of Tuscola Garden Club at their 9:30 a.m. meeting on Tuesday, September 18 at the Bethea Welcome Center at Lake Junaluska. Gardening on a slope can be a challenge in the areas of plant selections, proper planting procedures, and soil erosion prevention. King will share from her wealth of knowledge and experience to help gardeners learn how to landscape these problem areas for maximum beauty and minimum difficulties and upkeep. Visitors are welcome. Call 926-6387 for more information and directions.
