Charlene Nichole Smith and Michael Anthony Quinn, of Waynesville, were married in an afternoon ceremony Friday, Dec. 28, at Long’s Chapel United Methodist Church.  Dr. Charles (Chuck) W. Wilson II officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith, of Waynesville.  Grandparents are Jennie Smith, of Maggie Valley, and the late William Smith, of Boynton Beach, Florida, and the late Guy and Annetta Lewis, of West Palm Beach, Florida.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Quinn, of Sylva.  Grandparents are Tilly Quinn and the late Richard Quinn, of Phoenix, Arizona.  
The bride’s sister, Lauren Smith, flew in from Denver, Colorado, to stand as maid of honor and the groom’s brother, Matthew Quinn, was best man.
