May 11, 2014

On Thursday, May 15 the Grace Noon Concert Series will feature a variety of soloists and ensembles.

The series returns to the third day of the month and is admission-free with no collection. Series Director Charles Alley has described the event as “a gathering of area stars.”

Most of the participants are heard in The Signature Winds, The Song Spinners, The Haywood Community Chorus, various church choirs and other performing groups in the county.

“Some of these fine musicians will be appearing on the series for the first time and we are so excited about their presence,” said Alley.

The series began in March with The Song Spinners then The Signature Winds in April. This May concert will be followed by the last in this years series which will be held  Thursday, June 19. The series has been described as “A Grace Church gift to the community, by Arlene Lukas, Rector.”
