Special nonprofit training course is March 28
WNC Nonprofit Pathways will host a workshop titled “Coaching for Top Performance” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at Haywood Community College, 175 Freedlander Drive, Clyde.
The instructor will be Michael Diettrich-Chastain, founder of Path to Synergy, an independent organizational consulting, coaching and counseling firm.
This course is designed to assist nonprofit professionals identify the benefits of coaching; assess why some managers avoid coaching; recognize the characteristics of effective coaches; analyze what is influencing unsatisfactory performance; and how to document the problem areas; and more.
This course is appropriate for organizations of any size or stage of development. Nonprofits are encouraged to bring a team, including both staff and board.
This course qualifies for six credit hours toward the Duke Nonprofit Management Certificate. WNC Nonprofit Pathways has a limited number of 50 percent scholarships available for individuals affiliated with a WNC nonprofit organization.
