“Faerie” Elaine Silver will perform at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 15, at The Creative Thought Center, located at 449-D Pigeon St., Waynesville. There will be a time of meditation prior to the performance at 10:30 a.m.

Silver will also lead a “playshop” at 2 p.m. Chairs will be set up around the altar and participants will share music, a simple ritual and the Passion Test Principles, Spiritual Mind Treatment and Universal Law. The playshop is held in a loving space. Participants are invited to bring a small, special object to place on the altar and then take home.

Silver has a voice that’s hard to forget. It has been described as stunningly clear and fine, magnificent, rich and supple. She sings a cappella or accompanies herself on guitar and sometimes banjo, and has performed in concert for hundreds of thousands at colleges, festivals, churches, clubs and children's events throughout North America and Europe.

Admission is free, though audience members are welcome to leave a love offering. All are welcome.
