STAR Ranch is hosting an auction by local auctioneer, Mike Cagle of the Cagle family auction house at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Apple Hill Farms, to raise funds for the coming winter months.

The Jeweler’s Workbench has donated a silver horse silhouette pendant, and DelRay’s Consignment donated a mirrored antique horse collar.  Other items include a schooner replicated to the original sailing ship/ a hand carved 2-foot wooden sea turtle, king and queen Malawi chairs, a carousel horse, a solid walnut bench with horseshoe inset and a barn siding cabinet by local artisan Scott Bradley.

The auction is the conclusion of a hayride, starting at 4 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 provided by Smoky Shadows Lodge.
