When I was little, everything about this time of year, from the turning of the leaves to the starting of school to the time change, was really just a precursor to one, all-important night.

Halloween.

Of course, right? But I don't know want to start this column with a personal anecdote as much as a challenge. As I put together next week's edition of The Guide, I want to hear about your favorite Halloween costumes and/or costume ideas. As a youngster, were you proud as punch of your Ninja Turtle duds?
