The Haywood County Arts Council announces Michael Pilgrim in concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Haywood County Library auditorium, in Waynesville. The Sunday Concert Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. He will be accompanied by Drew Kirkpatrick, and their program will include classical, Irish, old-time, and gypsy-jazz selections. This concert is free and the public is invited to attend.

Pilgrim picked up his first musical instrument at the age of four. He first played professionally at 15 and has taught music lessons since age 22. He currently gives private instruction in mandolin, guitar, and fiddle at his downtown Waynesville studio.
