First Baptist Church of Waynesville is introducing a new support group for grieving parents, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 in the ministry activity building, next door to the sanctuary facing Main Street.

The meetings, which are scheduled to conclude at 8 p.m., will be held monthly and all those who have experienced the loss of a child, grandchild, or sibling are invited to be a part of this sharing time.  The age of the loved one may be anywhere from a newborn to an older adult.

It is hoped that this time of meeting and sharing the grief experience will be beneficial for those who are dealing with one of the most devastating of losses.
