Take the Chestnut Park survey
The town of Waynesville is pursuing improvements to Chestnut Park. The town collected information at a neighborhood meeting held last year and pursued grant funding in response to neighbors’ ideas.
A grant from the Medford Fund will replace some park furnishings and one from the Pigeon River Fund is being used to design stream improvements and stream bank stabilization.
The town is offering a short online survey in hopes that the citizens of Waynesville will take time to share additional input into the future of Chestnut Park.
The survey can be accessed at https://wcu.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_7R2WDk1ApmUFEpv. Along with this survey, the town will be hosting a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the town's Municipal Building, to hear ideas for Chestnut Park. The town encourages those interested in the development of Chestnut Park to participate.
