TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks that last about 18 minutes or less. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design (TED) converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. The creators of TED believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world.
Every other month, come watch a 15-20 minute TED talk and then discuss. April's talk is titled "Your Elusive Creative Genius."
Registration is required. Call 356-2507 or email email@example.com. All of the TED talks in this series have been chosen from the list of the top 20 most watched talks.
