TED Talk series starts Feb. 1
New for 2017, the Waynesville Library will be hosting a series of TED talk discussions. TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).
TED began in 1984 as a conference where technology, entertainment and design (TED) converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.
Every other month, from 1:00-2:30 pm, come watch a 15-20 minute TED talk and then discuss. Registration is required Call 356-2507 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
All of the TED talks in this series have been chosen from the list of the top 20 most watched talks.
