WAYNESVILLE — Mr. Terry W. Edwards, 64, of Waynesville, passed away at his home Sunday Sept.16, 2012, after an extended illness.

He was born in Haywood County to the late Burgess and Laverne Sorrells Edwards. He served in the US Army for two years in Korea during Vietnam, and retired from Champion International with 40 years of service.

He was in the last graduating class of Waynesville Township High of 1966 and was baptized and a member of Ochre Hill Baptist Church in Sylva.

Survivors include his wife Juanita Frizzell Edwards of the home; son John Wesley Edwards also of the home; daughters Heather Graves of Knoxville Tennessee, Andrea Nabors of Lenoir City, Tennessee, Terri Parker of Arden, and Barbara Delsesco of Ft.
