Three charged with manufacturing pot

Three Canton residents face felony charges after detectives found them with large amounts of marijuana last week.

Det. Shawn Gaddis said he received prior information of illegal drug activity in the home at 78 Beaverdam Street in Canton. There was also reported to be an abnormal amount of traffic going and coming from the house.

After some investigation, detectives received permission to search the home.

While conducting a search warrant on the home, Gaddis said detectives found a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

About eight ounces of marijuana was packaged separately in plastic baggies and was hidden in tin coffee cans.

Allan Richard Blythe, 55, and Daniel Gerald Blythe, 51, were each charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture or deliver marijuana, ...
